According to a recent article from the Globe and Mail, there are five main reasons why a prospect or customer may not want to talk with with you.
1. Your value is not clear to the prospect.
2. You're an unknown quantity.
3. You believe that your prospects don’t need what you offer.
4. You’re too busy selling when you should be listening.
5. You give up too easily.

One reason why a prospect might not want to talk to you is that you have the wrong person.

The wrong person is the biggest failure I see in sales people, man you can spend a lot of time with the wrong person, then someone else gets the business....and you're like, what??

They see you as not being trustworthy
They don't take sales calls
They woke up on the wrong side of the bed
Their bracket got bounced from the NCAA tourney
