HOLIDAY QUESTION #2:
It's THAT TIME - the annual sales sprint toward the New Year's finish line. Since this year is done, take a moment to look forward into next year.
What is the most self-indulgent reward you want to buy in 2013?
Mine is easy!

Fun question, anilorac! Everyone, I hope you'll take a moment to dream and then share it with us because if your answer gets the most kudos, you'll be the winner of a Data.com hooded sweatshirt! That's right, this is our second Member Question of the Month for December, so anilorac has just kicked off our contest. Have a little fun with this one, and then go out there in 2013 and achieve your goal (or get a little closer). Happy New Year everyone!

Kudos anilorac! Great question.
There are two things I'm looking to "reward" myself with in 2013 and both are things my wife has been wanting for some time. And you know the salesman's creed right? A happy wife means a happy life! So to answer your question, I'm, and or my wife, are looking to get a major kitchen renovation done PLUS we hope to take a trip to Italy in order to take in Rome, Venice etc.
I like the fact that you "picture" what you want and then go for it. That's exactly what I do. I print out a picture of what I want to go for and pin it up near my desk. That way if during the day, my mind starts to wander, I can take a quick look at what I'm working towards, get refocused and then get back to getting busy accomplishing the things I want to accomplish.
Stay "focused" anilorac and you can "picture" any future you want!

It has been the craziest year for me thus far. Now that my health is back, I decided I would travel as much as I am physically and financially able to do so I want to hike the grand canyon. I would put a pic on here but I don't know how lol. Anyway, my self indulgent gift is airline tickets to Arizona! Can't wait!

To post a picture, once you hit reply to message, the reply to message screen pops up.
Now just above where you type your response, you will see the B for bold in a grey bar? Reading across that bar you'll see the I for italics, underline, strokethrough etc.... the 9th icon over on that grey bar looks like a small little picture of a tree.
When you click that a dialogue box opens up, when you hit the browse button, you'll be able to see directories, folders and files from your own machine, select the picture you want to upload, then click the open button at the bottom of the dialog box and you should be good to go. The 10th icon looks like a piece of film right? You can select that one to upload a movie, or a pointer to a youtube video.
Pretty cool stuff.
if you have any additonal questions feel free to post or private message me any time.
Glad to here your health is back! ;-) Way to kick the big C to the curb!!
Kudos on your post. You can go back, edit it and add the picture if you want.

A year's worth of college tuition for my daughter. Why is this self-indulgent, you ask? Because I am high maintenance and I expect her to take care of me in style later in life!
