Well, well, well...we have finally arrived with The Final Four teams. In case you missed out on the action, the final teams remaining are: Gonzaga, South Carolina, North Carolina and Oregon. South Carolina and Gonzaga are in very unfamiliar territory since they have never seen The Final Four before. Oregon? The last time they were in The Final Four was 78 years ago - might as well be the first time. The only blue blood of college basketball in The Final Four in North Carolina.
"I picked South Carolina to win it all!" - said no one, ever....
What made my weekend was watching Kentucky lose. There, I said it. I have never liked Kentucky basketball, ever.
As far as our office pool goes, my brackets are busted. However, our office manager, a 64-year old woman with no knowledge of basketball, never watched a college game this season, has picked 3 out of the 4 Final Four teams! This same woman won our office pool last year. She has picked NC to win it all and I hope she wins this pool (again)!

This is the worst Final Four field I've seen probably ever probably since the 1940s when NYU made it.
South Carolina and Oregon are not basketball royalty and they aren't small Cinderella type teams. Gonzaga sounds like a robot fighting Godzilla.
And I can't name one player on any of the teams even North Carolina. Where's Jordan, Barkley, Ewing, Mullin, Alford, Pearl, Manning? etc. This one and done makes following the top players hard.
I would find it more interesting if the Women's UConn team was in this final four.

Stayed up late to watch one of the ugliest finals I can remember. Let's just say it was no NC vs. Georgetown, Indiana vs Cuse or NC vs Nova from last year.
and it cost me my beauty sleep.

Ooops! I did mean Washington. Thanks for the correction. Apologies to all my friends in Spokane!
