Each customer even within the same industry can be different. At this time of year I have my team ask their prospects what their holiday schedules are so they can adjust their close plans accordingly. It's also a good time to make sure that you have cell numbers notated as such in your database. That way if you are doing any cold calling you won't be disturbing anyone who may have already checked out for the holidays.
