Welcome to Jigsaw's Community! The purpose of this community is to give users a place to discuss, learn and suggest. The following community guidelines are in place so you know what is expected of you and what you can expect from others. By participating in the community, including private messaging, you agree to follow these rules and Jigsaw's Terms of Use.
Remember the Golden Rule "Treat others as you would like to be treated". The community gives users a chance to discuss their ideas and suggestions with each other. Everyone's input is encouraged and valued. There is room for everyone's opinion. Remember there is more than just one way to do things.
Netiquette Interacting online is much like talking over the cube wall. But there are a few things to remember. There is no font that explains emotion or can be used to understand gestures. However, using CAPS is considered yelling (so don't do it). Also, posting the same message twice is considered poor manners. Remember that when you post messages the people who read them sometimes can't tell what you intend to say, so make sure you are clear and concise.
Search First. Share the Wealth There are many different areas a user could post information that you are looking for. So before you post something, take some time and see what others have said. Don't be afraid to ask if you can't find something or are having trouble using the community. Everyone has something to contribute, don't be afraid to share what you know.
Be Respectful Whether a user is a new member or a frequent contributor, everyone's opinion is welcome. No obscene, defamatory or abusive language. No unlawful, libelous, damaging or injurious submissions. No spam. Keep your posts concise. Keep it professional. If someone helps you out, it's good netiquette to post a response saying thank you.
Protect Yourself This community is like any other public place. Anything posted here can be viewed and used by anyone who views it. For your safety and privacy, please do not post personal information in the public forums such as personal phone numbers, home addresses, social security numbers, last names or any other private information. Jigsaw is designed so you can feel comfortable sharing business contact information without worrying about revealing your anonymity. We encourage you to be mindful of this while interacting with other users.
Practice Common Sense 'Enough said'
Don't Involve the Lawyers
Do not submit anything that infringes upon trademarks, copyrights or any other proprietary rights of any person or company.
Abusive or Offensive Posts This community, like many others, will be monitored mainly by its users. If you see something offensive, abusive, illegal or inappropriate please click the "Flag for Moderator" link found towards the bottom left of the message. You can also add a user to your ignore list to prevent them from contacting you. The Private Messages are subject to the same Rules and Terms of Use.
Jigsaw Employees, Admins and Moderators This community is first and foremost an area for users to interact with each other. However, Jigsaw employees are encouraged to share their knowledge. They will have an employee icon next to their name. In addition to employees, there is a team of moderators who are here to help the community by monitoring the discussions and encouraging an energizing environment for users. Administrators are in charge of facilitating the backend of the community and may participate in forums when necessary. Salesforce.com monitors messages and posts for compliance purposes. Moderators will be notified of messages or posts that trigger content filters, so please remember to keep all posts appropriate, and leave any foul language out.
These guidelines are in place to ensure that each user has the best experience possible, however Moderators and Administrators can at any time, move, edit or delete a post. Remember to use your common sense and show respect to other users in the community. In most instances, if you cross the line, you will be warned and given a second chance. The online community is like a dinner party. You're invited but if you insult others you may be asked to leave.
